When you "Export" to Excel, HTML, etc...you are simply saving the report to a file. You can then load the file into Excel, your web browser, etc...
Example #1:
I'll assume you have Excel 97 or better on your computer.
- View a report on the screen.
- Click PRINT button, then Click "Export to" button
- By default TM wants to save the report as "GolfReport" to the folder TMData. You can name the report anything you wish and save it to any folder. If you use the default...TM will save the file to GOLFREPORT.XLS in the TMDATA folder.
- Run EXCEL, select OPEN on the FILE menu and open the file GOLFREPORT.XLS in the TMDATA folder. The report will load into Excel.
PLUS
You can even save any "VIEW" to Excel.
- Show the "Tournament Sheet" on the screen.
- Pull down the ROSTER menu and select PRINT or EXPORT VIEW. On report printing options click "Export to Excel" button
- By default TM wants to save the report as "GolfList" to the folder TMData. Let's put it on your DESKTOP. Click the drop down list in the SAVE IN box and select DESKTOP. Click the SAVE button.
- A file icon called "GOLFLIST.XLS" will appear on your desktop. Double-click this and EXCEL will launch with the report as the spreadsheet.

Example #2:
I'll assume you have an Internet web browser ( Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc) on your computer.
- View a report on the screen.
- Click PRINT, then Click Export button
- By default TM wants to save the report as "GolfReport" to the folder TMData. Let's put it on your DESKTOP. Click the drop down list in the SAVE IN box and select DESKTOP. Also change the save type to HTML (Web format). Click the SAVE button.
- A file icon called "GOLFREPORT.HTM" will appear on your desktop. Double-click this and your browser will launch with the report as the page.
